About

Jason was born in Greensboro, North Carolina in the winter of 1976 to the proud parents Wayne and Julie Norris. Jason attended William J. Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he received his diploma in 1995. He attended Tarrant County Junior College in Fort Worth, Texas for four semesters from August 1995 and May 1997.  He then transferred to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He married the love of his life Elizabeth in the summer of 1998. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the spring of 2000.  That next fall, he began the Masters of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design program at the University of Texas at Austin.  Upon graduating in the spring of 2003, Jason and Elizabeth moved to New York City.  After the birth of their first son Zachary in 2006, Jason and family ventured south to Birmingham, Alabama.  A few years later they were blessed with a daughter, Moriah. When Jason isn’t designing, he can be found searching for “sketchy” BBQ joints around the country with a glass of sweet tea in hand.
